Out of office reply

Hi all, I am on an Exchange server and have one
workstation/user that the out of office reply does not
work. The assistant service seems to be set, yet the
reply is not sent. This happened on his old pc as well
and this is a clean Outlook install, although same
mailbox. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you so much.
 
Is it an internal or an external reply? By (secure) default Exchange doesn't
send OoOA messages to the Internet.
