I am using Outlook Express. How do I set it up with an
automatic reply for incoming email? I will be out of the
office for an extended amount of time.

Only by using a rule. But that means your PC must be on 24/7, with OE
running and your internet connection on, both 24/7. OE will also respond to
any spam emails you might get, thus going into a "spam loop" and your inbox
will very rapidly fill up.
