Out of Office Reply

I want to create an auto reply template for email.
Something like, "I'll be back on November 23rd."

i get to tools/rules wizard/... and up to "reply using",
but, then i can't figure out how to make a template to
insert in the rule at that point.

How?

This can be done only of you're connected to an Exchange server.

Not true -- even without Exchange you can set up a rule to auto reply, but
Outlook must be kept running in order for the rule to work. The information
