I have a user that is subscribed to a number of mailing lists, but she is
going on annual leave for two weeks soon.

She would like to "modify" the Out-of-Office assistant so that it replys
with her standard message EXCEPT to those emails that she receives from a
specific address (ie the mailing lists).

Can this be done? If not, can anyone provide a suitable alternative
server-side rule that will only reply ONCE to each sender, save for the
exceptions?

Thanks,

Richard.

Set a rule to filter "reply with template " with "except from specific user"
as conditions.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your posting here.

Based on my knowledge, there is no direct way to exclude senders in OOF.
However, you can add a rule for the OOF Assistant to specify the sender you
want to send OOF to. To create rules, use the following steps:

1. On the Tools menu, click "Out of Office Assistant".

2. In the "Out of Office Assistant" dialog box, click Add Rule.

3. In the "When a message arrives that meets the following conditions" box,
click From button to specify the senders you want to send OOF to.

4. You may click to select the "Do not process subsequent rules" check box
to specify that this rule must be the last one applied.

For more information, take a look at the following article:

Hope this helps. Have a nice day.

Thanks & Regards
