I have out of office setup and it is working fine for
both internal and external repliesOut Of Office Assistant as being a SERVER side rule as it
has no local dependancies

Our network is setup with Exchange Server 200

It looks as if the system is treating the Out of Office Assistant as a client side rul

Any ideas!

By secure default automatic replying/forwarding/sending OoOA messages to the
Internet is disabled on the Exchange server. You'll need to enable it to get
it to work Note that you'll also reply to SPAM and other unwanted messages.
Also make sure that the OoOA messages people are creating comply with your
organization's (security) policy.

That is correct. There is a maintenance schedule to prevent disruption for
the end-users as much as possible. You might want to dig into the
documentation and see how you can optimize it for your environment.
