Out of Office Calendar

We want to have a calendar that shows when and why the attorneys are out of
the office. Is the best way to set up a resource of OOO so attorneys and
staff can add the details? Or do you have a better suggestion.

We are on Outlook 2007 Exchange 2007. Thank you in advance for your help.

I think a public folder would work well for this.
