Out of Office Assistant

I have a user that is reporting that her out of office
assistant is not responding to all the emails that she
receives. She indicates that the responses are random.
Any information on this?
 
Ask the user if the responses are being sent to only internal
recipients, or to both external and internal recipients.

The only responses have been internal.
