Out of Office appointments not showing in meeting planner

I have a user who has time marked on his calendar as "Out
Of Office". but no one else can see this. they keep
scheduling meetings for him when he is out of the office.
I have searched technet and chatted with a Technet Online
Concierge as well. No luck.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Any chance he's using a folder in a .pst file as his default calendar?
