Out of memory error in Outlook Express

J

Jerry

When opening emails in Outlook Express, I get a "Out of
memory error" even though system resources are OK. I re-
boot and and then I can open them up. But later on the
problem is back.

This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program, despite its similar name.

A good source of Outlook Express info can be found here:

The differences of these email programs:
OUTLOOK EXPRESS, included as part of Microsoft Internet
Explorer, offers standard Internet e-mail and news access,
required by many home and small-business users.

MICROSOFT OUTLOOK, provides comprehensive integrated e-mail,
including information management and collaboration capabilities,
required by a wide spectrum of users from home to small
business to large enterprise. Outlook has the Calendar and Tasks.

You would have much better response by asking this on
(depending upon your version):

microsoft.public.inetexplorer.ie4.outlookexpress for OE 4.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.outlookexpress for OE 6.x:
microsoft.public.internet.mail.mac for the Macintosh version of OE:

To find your version:

Open OUTLOOK EXPRESS
Select HELP from the menu on top
Select ABOUT MICROSOFT OUTLOOK EXPRESS
