Oultlook Web Access

I downloaded the S/MIME file and now when I compse a form it closes outlook
when I push send or even try to exit out of window. I tried to uninstall but
an error appeares stating that it can not uninstall because another version
is running. How can I uninstall or is there a hotfix for this problem? Any
help on this matter would be appreciated.

Close all instances of IE and then try uninstalling it via Add/Remove
programs. If that fails, then it is a matter of getting the right versions
of the smime installer from the exchange binaries* and then try
installing/removing it.

* By this I mean, if Exchange 2003 is at SP2, then try using the
setupmcl.exe from this service pack to see if it will install/uninstall.
Work backwards until you get a sucess..

Oh and before I forget, Microsoft released updates for Exchange 2003 that
solve this problem. (its a new S/MIME control that is compatible with IE7.)
Suggest to the folks that run the Exchange server you work with that they
apply the updates to make IE7/Vista users happy little campers.

I guess I should have mentioned it is 2007. I tried your suggestion before
posting but I did have a IE window open. Will let you know what happens...

Well nothing has worked so far. Still trying...

Did some checking, Exchange 2007's OWA does not support S/MIME. From some
of the information I'm finding on the internet, looks like S/MIME support
will be added is SP1 for Exchange 2007. So out of curiosity, where did you
download the S/MIME control from?
