others cannot receive pdf attachments

Some people I send attachments to in an email do not get the attachements.
The latest problem has been with .pdf files. They can be received if I send
them from my email provider but not through my Outlook 2003.

Some people also cannot receive photo's I have attached through Outlook.

In all cases, they get the email message but no attachments.

Any ideas?
 
It sounds like you are sending them the message in RTF-format. Switch to
Plain Text or HTML instead;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format
 
Thanks Roady but don't think that is the problem. Checked my Options/Mail
format in Outlook and it is set to compose in html. Might give plain text a
try
 
Also check the Contact's properties;
Open the Contact-> right click on the email address-> Outlook Properties->
set the Internet Format to "Let Outlook decide".
