Hi,
This may or may not be appropriate to ask this question here but anyway...
We don't want to use MS DNS. We already have DNS running on our AS/400.
It supports SRV and dynamic updates.
What do I have to do so DNS doesn't have to be running on the DC at all.
I have searched far and wide but can't see exactly what needs to be added to
the DNS server.
I am not a DNS guru and our jump to Win2K was not expected so no planning
was done, so therefore I am not a Win2K (AD) expert either.
I just need to know what information needs to be replicated from the Win2k
DNS to our AS/400 DNS to allow our Win2k server to point to the AS/400 DNS
server like the rest of our network already does.
TIA
Nathan
