O
orum
Somtime in the last 2 weeks I've run into a problem trying to save
check images from my bank (Wells Fargo) using Internet Explorer 6.
Previously the front of the check image would save as a PNG file, and
the back of the check image would save as a JPEG file. It would also
assign a default name that had the check number in it.
Now I'm only able to save the image as a (much larger) BMP format and
the name defaults to "Untitiled".
I've found the Microsoft KB articles on this, and have deleted my
temporary internet files, removed my downloaded program files, moved
the location of the folder for my temporary internet files, and made
sure the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" option is not selected.
I still have the problem.
I can save other images I find on the web in their proper format.
I have this issue on both my desktop and laptop, but if I use Netscape
Navigator I am able to save the front image in PNG, rear image in JPEG,
and get a default file name that has the check number in it.
Any suggestions on how to fix IE to work the way it used to?
