Other Contacts Missing from Navigation Pane

I removed a single entry under the other contacts section of the navigation
pane (and it disappeared) and have tried to create new shortcuts to contact
lists hoping it would reappear but no luck. The shortcut is to a contact
list in the public folders which I have access to. Does anybody know how to
get this list back and have it populate any new contact shortcuts?

Make sure the contacts list is available in Public Folders\Favorites, then right-click it and choose Add to Other Contacts.
