OT: XP SP2 webclient service slowing right click menu and launching pic and fax viewer

I have found this strange problem coming up allot lately. With the 'webclient service'
running, the right click menu takes 45-60 seconds to open on any file. Opening a picture
in Pic and fax viewer will be delayed. opening a music file also.

Stopping the 'webclient' service in admin tools will fix it, however I do not know the
reason this fixes the problem.
I would rather find the actual culprit for this, as stopping the service will effect
'shares over web' situations.


Any thoughts?
