I would like to subscribe to a windows & office XP Tips and Tricks-type
newsletter. Please offer suggestions/guide me to the most reputable source.
I've lost one computer to XPsp2 and I'd prefer not to do it again...

Thank you very much!

The LangaList newsletter: http://www.langa.com/ After enjoying the
standard (free) edition for a couple of years, I signed up for the paid
version two years ago. You can read the current and past issues at the
site if you like.

Regards,
Ian.

Microsoft sends me a Tips and Tricks newsletter. Check out their main
website, and search for newsletters.

LangaList by Fred Langa
LockerGnome (several newsletters and feeds)
Naked PC
Neat Net Tricks
Scot's Newsletter (Scot Finnie's Newsletter, SFNL, note "Scot")
Tech Support Alert Newsletters by Gizmo
Windows Secrets (combines Brian's Buzz and Woodys Windows Watch) by Brian
Livingston
Windows Tips & Tricks

I particularly like LangaList, LockerGnome Windows Fanatics, and Tech
Support Alert. I suspect Windows Secrets and Scot's Newsletter are the
closest to what you requested. I think all of them have significant
sections on XP SP2. Good luck finding the time to read them all.

For Office, there is nothing to compare to Woody's Office Watch by Woody
Leonard.
Woody's Email Essentials
Woody's OFFICE Watch (WOW)
Woody's Office for Mere Mortals
Woody's ACCESS Watch
Woody's OFFICE 2003

BTW, Tech Support Alert has an excellent annotated list of free support
sites. Those plus the sites listed for Microsoft MVPs (of which Kelly's
Korner is one), and the Microsoft newsgroups are the best places I know
about of to find answers to Windows problems.

BillR

PS - The following just wastes space and misleads the unknowing. Did I copy
your text, turn my AVG option on, or just type it in? (Hmm, why is it that
I never have a three-sided coin when I need one?)

IMHO Kelly's site is excellent. Have you tried Axcel's site? What is
your opinion of it?
