A month or two ago, or was it more ? :-) ...I put a ADA6000IAA6CZ in m 2nd
PC (AMD AM2 x2 6000 2x1mb L2 cache 89w version),
...now they seem to have vanished, ...now that I was pondering on buying
one for my brother for XMAS !
....(definately not tempted by the Phenom's BTW),

....all that seems to be available by my favourite vendors is the 2x512 L2
cache version e.g. :-
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/135663/show_product_reviews

....perhaps I should hunt harder !

regards, Richard

Have you looked at pricewatch.com? The first listing for the AMD X2
6000 is the chip you are looking for.

Thanks for your response,
..my link was wrong anyway, I meant to point to
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149211 ,,,the link below pointed to a AMD
Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Socket AM2 2.6GHz !

Earlier today I tried www.pricewatch.com and got "http 404" ...just tried
it again, and
http://www.pricewatch.com/cpu/athlon_x2_6000.htm yields several firms in the
US, (I'm in UK :-( ...but, thanks anyway.

At least one of those firms mention that they do international orders.
I don't know if this will raise the price too much.

Thanks again, I will look into shipping/import/VAT costs etc. when I get
the chance.
....will first try to find one in the UK at a sensible cost , of course :-)

regards, Richard
