Some sites pretend to have forums by ripping off usenet postings, or by
just making their site a lame interface to those groups.

Why complain? You are getting publicity. The moment you put a
post on Usenet it was totally public anyhow.

You put them out in a public forum where there are no real limits upon
what use might be made of them. If someone felt like it they could just
as well translate them into Latvian haiku and tattoo them on an elephant
in the name of free expression. If you don't want to be exposed then
don't expose yourself.

USEnet group posts are public and can be archived by anybody, including
google. Which of course, bought dejanews years ago along with their
databas of old USEnet posts.
