Really. Physical access to the device or ask the person responsible is
the only real way. If you are not supposed to access it though then
don't do it. You could get your butt fired real quick.

Absolutely though I am not going to tell you how to find it. WEP is pretty
useless and only slightly better than no protection at all. Instead of
cracking your firms WEP key, get yourself some recognition and show your
firm with a couple of internet searches how easy cracking them is and get
them to upgrade to at least WPA.

Colin;
Good answer, I was wondering of a good way for the OP to advise the
employer.

Another benefit, instead of quickly being fired, may get recognition for
identifying security weakness.

Ahh shucks
*blushes*

Now if only I could convince my neighbour that WEP protection was better
than the no protection I have enjoyed for 1 1/2 years:-)

What is your employer's email address? I'll encourage him to give it to
you. What name do you use there?

Hmm... Is that possible that he was also enjoying... looking into all your
data coming through his router? :-)

Maybe they want to keep people off their networks and NOT browsing the
internet and wasting company time. Maybe you should concentrate on your job
and earn your pay there at your job. By the way, what do you do for your
company and why do you need to get online?
