OT: Weired Problem regarding my DVD Writer (if you can help ...)

Hi guys,

I have bought a brand new pc. P4. The DVD writer (MSI DVD) has some weired
issue. It can write the CDs but not the DVDs.

Acutally, what happens is it apparently writes the DVDS as it takes time,
writes buffers etc. But when I try to see the contents
nothing appears to be written. I am using Nero software which comes with it.
I also tested some shareware software with it.

Nothing works. The 'Bastard' that I bought the PC from says it is my
Software which makes the DVD not to work as I didn't
buy his OS and other shits!

I don't know what can go wrong.

Any help will be appreciated.

I read the topic:

MEDIA: I have bought the DVDs from him as well. So I am sure he knows that
his DVD writer is working with this media:
Prinnco 1-4 Xspeed 4.7 GB.

Burning: I am using Nero Express this is the software that comes with this
DVD as suggested in this paper. I don't have the option
of UDF 1.05 with this version of Nero.

what else can be wrongggggg?

Er - well - the shop I bought a DVD Writer from didn't know so I have a pack
of 25 frisbies ....
Try buying one blank DVD from a variety of manufactures/suppliers.
Try the Writer manufacturer's website. The one for mine has a list of the DVDs
it works with.
