Hi, everyone!

Is Wasup! still around? Haven't seen any posts lately from Wasup!.

I've been using my Wasup! Windows 98 batch file (batch fiel for
cleaning internet temporary folders, etc.) for over a year now. Was
wondering if there was a Windows XP version. Anyone know?

Thanks!

I think Wasup! dropped by under another nick a short while ago to
say hi.

I doubt we could talk him into making one for XP. There are a
number of complicating factors. Fred Langa has a pretty good
(albeit long) discussion of the topic at
<http://www.langa.com/newsletters/2002/2002-04-04.htm#2>, and there
are template batch files available to DL from there. I haven't
tried it myself yet.

Langa's CleanXP blows my Wasup! 98 away. It's what I use now.
Find it here: http://www.langa.com/cleanup_bat.htm

Hi, Wasup!

So, you're saying we can use that instead of your Wasup! 98?? Okay.
Understood. But which one sounds best to you; I like the sounds of
cleanall.bat (found on the above page, but directl URL is:
http://www.langa.com/cleanall_bat.htm).

Thanks!

I use clean9x.bat on my Win98 machine and CleanXP on this machine. IIRC,
cleanall.bat doesn't clear the icon cache (speed reboot) nor use smart
drive (allocate memory to make clean up quicker.
