Hi all:

I have been experiencing a problem and I don't know why, I can't get
www.google.ca on the internet. is it possible that I have some virus/worm
that is blocking it? I can go anywhere else on the 'net, and I have asked
around and nobody else sees to be having the problem.
If it makes a difference, my ISP help line advised me I had the Q-host worm
on my computer. To this day I don't know how I got it.
Any help/suggestions out there?

TIA,
Jamie

I don't know how your pc could have got it, but this may help:

There had been an ad banner, hosted by Furtunecity, a (reputable)
server, which lead to a site which contained said trojan.

Fortunecity removed the banner as soon as they heard of the malicious
code which was put into the banner link. In fact, you didn't do
something forbidden, when you clicked on the link. Whoever
placed this site and the banner, is the culprit.
