Ubuntu 8.04 has Firefox 3 as the default browser.
On July 16, 2008 Mozilla released Firefox 3.0.1 that fixes a lot of critical
security flaws.
But at current date, there're no updates for Firefox 3 for Ubuntu 8.04.
'Check for updates' button is also disabled in Firefox. Still no updates for
Firefox 3 in Ubuntu Update Manager.
Does Ubuntu security suck!

The sky is falling! The sky is falling! I know I will fret, fuss and
worry until the update appears. However, one can use alternatives if
desired while waiting for the update, and for those that might not be so
patient, it is available for manual install.

It's obvious you don't know how to use a computer. You posted the same
message three times. Better stick with Ubuntu. Anything else would just be
way over your head.

Kind of like Adam Albright the group ****tard.

There was more of a hurry to rush it out to Windows due to Windows'
inherent vulnerabilities. I suspect 3.0.1 will be available tomorrow for
Ubuntu.
