Did a clean install of Win xp pro and had numerous difficulties doing
anything to access the web. Most often i would try to access www.google.com
and at the bottom of the window it would say "opening page
www.www.google.com.net". It added a www. and a .net to the url, which in
turn cant find such a page.

After running msconfig and shutting off start-up files.... Its been isolated
that winreg32.exe is causing the problem. However I can't find any reference
to what this file is, virus related or not, or what its associated too.

Any thoughts or suggestions is appreciated.
Thx

Don't know, but in future, you can input that filename into google and
it will give you a wealth of pages answering your question.

Try asking in a Windows group
