One Handed Man [ OHM# ]

Its Saturday night at 18:21 and almost Christmas. Where am I ?, sitting
right here trying to help out on the NG along with the other regulars.

Sometimes I think I'm like Comic Book Guy from the Simpson's ( Though I'm
not Fat ), but its the nerdyness, don't ya see ?

Regards - OHM

The best thing you can do in a situation like this is the
following. Make sure you follow each instruction.

1) Find an old bootable DOS 6.2 floppy.
2) Insert into Floppy drive.
3) Reboot Computer
4) Format C:
5) Leave for home and forget your troubles!

OHM,
I have to say that I completely feel with you, many times wondering
how everything works.
Just life itself... man... should be christmas and I spent whole day
developing...

At least developing on Christmas day ( albeit sad ) has a sort of honest
purity about it don't you think ?

Sobriety can be so much more satisfying than forcing endless bottles of
alcohol and Christmas fayre down your throat.

OHM, maybe you're right... although whenever I am working on something
it doesn't really mean I am sober. :)
On the other hand maybe it's better than many other things... but not
when you're overlooking your wide, because you can't figure out
something for last 5 hours. :(
And many times, well... also not really nice when you realize it's
4.30 am and you should be going to work at 7 :)
hey..that's life, isn't it?

It's almost as bad as me checking for replies to a work related question I had asked at half seven in the morning on a Saturday! Some of us definately need a holiday :)

this machine... laptop on my knees sitting in the bed :)

I was once on a British Telecom training course up in the North of England
in the massive BT training centre for telephone exchange training etc and
found myself in a cold single dorm room for the night. I was cold, the
Laptop was warm, and yes, I admit it, I put the Laptop in my bed as a hot
water bottle and slept with it all night. The Laptop has no regrets and nor
do I. :)

How many people can say that ?
