OT - Right Click on a Web Page

This is not directly related to FP but I am hoping someone will clue me in.

During Win 98 days, I used to have an utility that when installed, gave some
extra options if you right clicked on any blank area of a web page. One of
them used to list all the images and their properties (file name, size, etc)
and at the bottom of it was the total byte size of both image files and htm
file.

I don't remember the name of the utility and also, if I am not mistaken, it
didn't work under IE6.

Is there any similar utility out there that would work under XP/IE6? It was
very handy while designing

Sure would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hi Ann,

If you Google for IE Booster...I think you will find downloads available.
Proceed however at your own risk! :-)

It was the a non-supported MS PowerToy add-in for IE4 and if you can find it, it works under IE6.

It's called IE5 Web Accessories, and it will work in IE 6, but requires a little "tweaking"

I use it and I have IE 6

Which tweaks? The one that fails for me is the images list - how can I make
that work?

Yup, it was IE 5 Web Enhancer. Downloaded the program from MS site
(IE5wa.exe) and installed it but when I choose the Images List option from
the right click in IE, it just opens a blank page saying "List of all images
in...." but no image is shown.

What tweak is required for it to work, Steve? Thanks in advance.

As for IE Booster, the product doesn't exist anymore and has been
reincarnated into another product called Site Inspector and is not free
anymore as mentioned on the paessler's web site.

For me too Murray...I think today though that many free Internet downloads
are becoming much more "Warez" like. Those I would stay far far away from.
:-)

The images list is one tweak and zoom in zoom out was another.
I got the tweaks from Jim Pickering, another MVP ( not FrontPage )

Email me and I'll gladly zip and send you copies. My addy is valid.

Hitting refresh will open a partial list.
But the file needs some moderate editing to work correctly

Email me and I'll send you a corrected copy.
