Any recommendations on a program that scans for trojans (and anything else
that a virus scanner won't detect)? Thanks.

Port scanners don't scan for trojans, per se, they scan for open ports.
Virus scanners should be able to detect trojans (because they're viruses).

true...

false... all viruses are recursively self-replicating malware, but
trojans don't *generally* self-replicate...

There is a distinction between trojans and viruses

I second the recommendation for TDS 3. It's really a nice product. Even has
port scanner and stuff, not too useful if you have decent auditing tools, but
cool nevertheless.

Well I've seen plenty of stuff get past NAV and AVG. TDS 3 is a bit better for
trojans, and can sometimes clean them as well.

Tauscan and Trojanhunter are easier to use, but I don't like them as much.
