OT Query Gravity

I've just downloaded and installed Gravity. Is there a way to change the
setup so that the most current articles are at the top of the list? OE
has an option for View and one only had to select Ascending or
Descending. I prefer descending by sent date. Any helpful information
is greatly appreciated. TIA.

Click filters tab (if not showing click it under view tab...filter bar)
highlight all articles and edit.

Click on the filter display button, then on the filter you want to
change. Then - Edit - set tick box 'Sort descending'.
Incidentally you can pull the filter bar to the bottom and the toolbar
becomes a single row.

Clicking the column head will resort he articles. I imagine that you
do not want to have to click to sort by date each time; to make a
permanent setting, you will have to create a display filter. Gravity's
documentation includes and excellent tutorial on how to do this,
accessed via the help menu. If you have more Gravity questions,
news.software.readers is the best place to ask - put [Gravity] in the
Subject header.

TB is in both groups, a very helpful guy indeed. He said something the
other day in n.s.r that indicated that the source for Gravity /will/ be
released. (His pages still say it will /if/ there is interest - looks
like there is.) There is proprietary licenced code in there that has
to be excised before it the source can be made available.

You're a lucky guy if you can't relate to that metaphor of Groening's.
