Hi, all. Now I know this is really OT but I'm not sure where else to ask
and I know many of you are not only software experts but also hardware
experts.

I have a Micron Millenia Max PC, bought in 1999, that just died on me. It
won't even turn on the fan or anything else when I hit to power button. I
suspect the power supply went bad. Does anyone know where I can get a
replacement power supply?

The present power supply is:

Tiger Power PS/2 ATX 2 250W Power Supply (Part #PWS001086-00)

Would anyone know a good place to buy a new one or one that is compatible
to this?

Or if anyone suspects a different problem other than a bad power supply,
please let me know. TIA.

Bob

Robert, take it out of the machine; take it down to your nearest
computer supply and hold it out and say "Give me one of these"

When they get one for you, don't be timid about taking it out of the
box and making sure it has the same connectors as the old one.

Cheers!

Heh, you know, JD, I am squeamish when it comes to messing with with
something that has all those wires and connectors sticking out of it. But
I finally mustered up the courage to go into Staples and get a power
supply. Ever so fearfully, I replaced the existing one and crossed my
fingers. It worked! My machine is back working again!

Thank you for the input, JD. I guess there are times when ya just gotta
dive in and hope ya swim.
