I have three of these Gotive H41 things to sell. They were given to me in
order to sell by a guy I know who owns a parcel delivery firm. They are in
near-mint condition; basically unused.

Any offers, or ideas for selling?

How much are you looking for?
They might be handy for us at work

Fifty quid each okay? They cost a lot more.

They came as part of some sort of franchise deal.

They are unused, but the boxes are a little tatty. They come with some
mounts for vehicles (at least I think that is what they are) and rechargers,
software and SIM cards. They are Model 5, which should tell you what
options they have, and include the SDS type docking stations.

Do they have the barcode readers and wi-fi , as they seem to be options and
I couldn't see what model options were available

uk.comp.homebuilt is for discussion of all aspects of building and upgrading
computers yourself, as opposed to buying an off-the-shelf package.

While most discussion will concern PCs, home-building of other computers may
also be discussed. Examples of topics include, but are not limited to,
recommendations for hardware or suppliers, hardware conflicts and
compatibility issues, discussion of forthcoming hardware developments,
device drivers etc.

Discussion of software is off-topic with the following exceptions:
device drivers, diagnostic software, installation problems and licensing
issues with newly upgraded or homebuilt machines.

exceeding four lines, is acceptable.

Presuming they come with dock/power etc then I'm really interested.
Do these have wifi? It's an optional extra. If they do, or if it can
be easily added then count me in, looks like a great toy.

Anyone know if WM5 software tends to install OK on WindowsCE.net? I'm
thinking tomtom and Opera...

OK. They have Barcode readers and GSM/GRPS. They are upgradeable to wifi,
GPS, Bluetooth etc. The RRP for the newer H42 version is £1,600.

I will let these go for a fraction of that, to anybody who wants to make
offers. I just need to find out how to wipe the software on them so that
they are more useful to anybody that wants to install their own.

Erm.. I just realised that what I said might sound like they were stolen or
something, and I can assure you that they are not, and company receipts can
be given if necessary.

The RRP that I quoted was for the H42 version with the same configuration.
