Hi,
I'm a mature student who is half way through a university degree course in
the UK (joint honours IT/Archaeology).
Unfortunately my father died in January which has resulted in my falling
behind with my studies.
Now I find myself in a situation where, although the university are more
than willing to give me extra time to catch up on my assignments...they
obviously cannot offer much tutoring/tech support.
Consequently I am looking for someone with a sound knowledge of
Databases/Spreadsheets, who would be able to help me (via email) with a few
assignments.
I would of course, be willing to pay them for their time.
Would anyone who is able/interested, please email my off-list.
Many thanks,
Steve

While this isn't the place to seek paid, individual assistance, it is a
great place to get useful, free assistance. There are good suggestions on
effective use of newsgroups at http://www.mvps.org/access/netiquette.htm.
That site has a great deal of very helpful information, as well.

I suggest you try to formulate "precise and concise" questions about the
topics with which you need help, and post them here, or in the USENET
newsgroup comp.databases.ms-access. You'll expose them to helpful,
knowledgeable people all over the world and you may start getting answers
almost immediately.

Best of luck with your studies. We look forward to hearing from you.
