Hi,
I had a previuos maniac post, but I'm OK now.
I have some Excel 2000 MS books, Would I be wasting time using these to get
a better (any) grip on excel 2003? I guess I mean has it changed that much?
Thanks
Frank

No it hasn't changed much at all, just a few cosmetic changes, a 2000 book
is fine

Thanks so much Tonight I posted twice(well, one I got carried away, but I
got such great and quick responses.
Thanks so very much

The newer versions don't usually replace any functionality, they add to it,
and whilst there is some new stuff, what you have in that book is still
probably 95% of whats in the current version. Certainly for anyone starting
out, that book is going to contain virtually all you need to know and more.
One thing that will look slightly different though is if you have any
screenshots of the Pivot Table interface, as it has been improved greatly
since 2000. It is however quite intuitive anyway (IMO), so hopefully you
will find it a bit easier to use than it appears in the book.

As the others have said, there aren't many changes in versions. (I use
FrontPage 2003 but still have a FP97 book that I use now and then along with
newer ones.) Some things never change and no single book can teach you
everything. When you run across something that looks different, mark your
book so that the next time you remember.
