Very Joyful \(Victoria\)

I'm trying to use this script:
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm

When I use it once on a page, it works.
See: http://www.lifewaychapel.com/eventphotos-1.htm

However, my fading message at the top doesn't appear
(see any other page at site to see the fading message).

And...

I'd like to put several of these slide shows on the page.
I get an errors when I try this, and none of the slide shows appear.
See: http://www.lifewaychapel.com/eventphotos-2.htm

Is this impossible? Or is there something in the script to modify?

WinXP-home, FP2002, host: Linux/Apache with extensions

TIA, Victoria

Sorry, I hit the post button in OE before the publish button in FP.
It should be there now. (You are so fast!)

Victoria,

The easiest solution I think is the use of the IFrame.

Basically it just takes time, and trial and error to go thru the script to
make the changes, I would do it on a single page with a single script, so
that one you get it renamed and working, then you can copy it and do a
search and replace to change the names for the other 3 versions.

Good idea. Wish me luck!

P.S. Thanks for not sleeping tonight Thomas. <grin>
I really appreciate your fast replies.

Okay.. just in case anyone is following this thread, just dying to see the
results of my efforts, I'm all done with the page and you can see it here:
http://www.lifewaychapel.com/eventphotos.htm

In fact, I'd appreciate anyone telling me if they have trouble with the
Iframes.

Bandwidth warning: there are 3 slideshow and a gazillion photos.

Victoria,

Look good, have you consider doing this as 4 pages, where the first page has
the links to 3 photo galleries?

That's what I started out to do, but I got lazy and didn't want to write
three more introductions, make three more heading images, etc. Except for 2
or 3 pages, I wrote pretty much every word in the site (including the
pastor's greeting!) and I'm just a little tired. <sheepish grin> I did the
site pro bono, as when the project started we were attending this church
(but we've moved out of state now).

But <sigh> I think you're right, I should buckle down and just do it.

Despite my whining, I do appreciate your input. ;)

Take your current page, and save as 3 times, then on the original page
remove the content for:

Family Event Photos
Women's Event Photos
Youth Group Event Photos

But leave the titles as links to the 3 new pages (Family, Women's, Youth). I
think you could leave the "Worth a Thousand Words ..." content at the top of
each page.

The above is just my thoughts on one approach.
