Thought I could totally avoid Vista. Laptop died. So had to get a new
one; with Vista Home Basic.
Won't see my wireless network as a secure private one. Nice to have
connection at 150mbs but no internet connectivity. The internal adapter
is b/g, so had to use a USB N to access my routers WPA2 standard.
Changed the workgroup last night to match the other XP boxes, connected
just fine. Got up this morning to finish loading, and no access. Just
dragged out a lan cable to finsih the job, but now can't use it until I
can make the home network be seen as a private, trusted one.
Too bad it couldn't have hung a little longer. I detest it already.
