I have had no luck finding any info on OKIA PSU's. Mine is labeled "OKIA 420" but I don't know if that's 420w max power or
sustained. I'm guessing max.

Broadway Corporation's house brand?

Probably.

This page:

is for an Okai 230w (the text calls it Allied, probably too lazy to change the
stock description), and it's described as "230 total watts (max)".

Yes, it's cheap.

You bet it is. I got a 400 W Okia for $Cdn 12 (about $USD 9) a
year ago for someone an acquaintance who needed a new PSU but had
no money. It lasted about 5 weeks driving a 233 MHz PII system
with a total power consumption that couldn't have peaked at 120 W
and probably had a normal load of half that much.

The store owner was happy to give me
A.) A refund.
B.) A replacement.
C.) 2 spares so that he could get the last of the damned things
out of his inventory.
