Has anyone experienced this sort of problem?
I tried to send a zip file to my friend who owns a Gmail account. I have
sent a message using GMAIL's own smtp server. Sending went ok, however a
second later i got this thingy in my log window
16.3.2005, 07:58:32: SEND - Message has not been sent. Server reply -
5.7.0 Illegal Attachment
16.3.2005, 07:58:34: SEND - connection finished - 0 messages sent
16.3.2005, 07:58:34: SEND - Some messages were not sent - check the log
for details
I tries sending plain text message to my account, through GMAIL's smtp
and it went ok. So, what's the deal with illegal attachments?
Now, my attachment did not contain viruses. It was a zipped folder with
HTML tutorial how to make 1:1 DVD copy. It was scanned with NOD and
Avast, both upgraded yesterday.
Moreover, I sent that same atachment from my Yahoo account (web
interface). Same problem. Returned message, illegal attachment.
