I just found someone send my dad a virus (in a zip file) while the message
contents said:

<quote>
Secure Mail System Beta Test.

++++ Attachment: No Virus found
++++ F-Secure AntiVirus - www.f-secure.com
</quote>

Fortunately, He directly send it to me, triggering my virusscanner.
Though it is common knowledge not to open attachments from strangers,
people might become confused or less strict by the "No Virus found" message.
Just a friendly warning to start distrusting these "no virus found"
messages, if you didn't already.

BTW, the virus in question is W32/Netsky.p@mm!zip.

I sometimes see people posting to usenet with sigs added by their AV. It'd
be nice if people turned those off. A file isn't safe because the person
sending it to you says it's safe. A file isn't even really safe if your AV
says it's safe either.

Wouldn't it just...
