OT: Epson RX620 not recognising cartridges in Vista Home Premium

Had this printer working away happily in XP Pro.

Bought a new PC with Vista Home Premium, installed the printer (checking for
updated drivers beforehand, obviously), it then came up with an error
message saying cartridges are not compatible - WTF?

Anyone had a similar experience, but more importantly, what do I need to do
to sort it - except buying Epson carts, naturally!

Does the printer report bad cartridges? That is on the printer panel (not the
PC)?
If it does then it is nothing to do with Vista and you may need to re-install
the cartridges using the "How To" wizard in the printer driver, assuming the
Vista driver for this printer has a "How To" wizard.

You are correct, it is on the printer lcd screen, not the PC monitor.

I'll try this & see how I get on.

Thanks.
