Many of us know PopTray, a freeware email notifier which has been developed for several years
and which I find outstanding. Actually the author of the application has chosen a donationware
licence and has therefore used a pa*pal account ; it may be interesting to see what happened
recently to his account :

Hi Antoine,

I'm told the US toll-free # for PayPal is 888-221-1611

Phone calls from people on the list to PayPal about this problem might
result in some action.

There are enough of these stories reported to keep me from ever using
their service. <http://www.paypalsucks.com/>

»Q« It's is not, it isn't ain't, and it's it's, not its, if you
mean it is. If you don't, it's its. Then too, it's hers.
It isn't her's. It isn't our's either. It's ours, and
likewise yours and theirs.

FYI: I received some more information and emailed it to Renier Crause.

<partial quote of info received>

I called paypal. . . write an email and clearly state what you want ,
like "send me my money in an international money order" or whatever, and
send your request to (e-mail address removed)
