A little addition for you because it is to generalic in my opinion.
Developers are not good in writing documentation from there own developments
the user can
understand...
That is not only for documentation, that is also for things as testing and
has nothing to do with a devellopper, a devellopper can be an excelent
tester for programs he has never seen.
