Hi

I use Firefox and got the following message on a freeware website:

"This Site Requires a Current Browser [i.e. IE6 (excuse the pun)/Netscape 7]
Your System: Mozilla 1.7 on Win98 [Java=false]
Go to "Network > Web Browsers" to download updated browsers"

If you go to "Network > Web Browsers" you can download the "old" IE6 and
Netscape but you also get a link to Firefox. I am confused - the site have a
problem with Firefox but also give you the option to download it. And
Firefox is a newer broswer than IE6!

Best to e-mail the webmaster and ask to have the browser-sniffer
updated, or, better yet, removed.

During installation you have to find the Java on your hard drive. If the
installation doesn't find it (it didn't find mine), you have to browse for it
manually.
Then everything will be fine, I think.
