Hmmm. This reminds me of something...

"The top story in the news tonight is the nude body of
an unidentified man found impaled on a fencepost in
rural Nebraska. Authorities say that the man had the
words 'die spammer' written on his back with a
blowtorch. This makes the third victim in the Spammer
Murder case. A stolen laptop, webcam and satellite
Internet link were used to transmit a video of several
masked black-clad members of the Anti-spam Direct
Action Committee as they carried out this grisly
murder.

Authorities say that this string of brutal murders is
likely to be the work of the same group even though
each victim has been killed in a different maner. The
first victim was dismembered while still alive with a
chain saw that was found at the scene, the second was
nailed to a tree to be mostly eaten by a herd of
feral pigs.

An international criminal investigation is underway
but internet service providers are proving exceedingly
reluctant to cooperate.

On a related note, the level of spam and other malicious
traffic on the Internet has dropped to the lowest level
since such things have been monitored."

Unfortunately, that post was titled 'Wishful Thinking.'

Ah _crap_. Personally, I'd have used the blóðörn on spammers, but... what can
you do :-(

Are you sure you read that right? It didn't say "In Times to Come"?

And to think that I was once criticized by Roger Johansson for joking
about beating spammers to death with a baseball bat. 80)>

I'd never do such a thing, but wouldn't be at all surprised if somebody
else did.

One of the hats I wear is that of unpublished writer. I find that
writing little fantasies like this is a healthy way of venting my
less-than-socially-acceptable feelings.

Not that I'd ever *do* such a thing.

.... The one journey that ultimately matters is the journey into the
place of stillness deep within oneself. To reach that place is to be at
home. To fail to reach it is to be forever restless. At the place of
central silence, ones own life and Spirit are united with the life and
Spirit of God~
