OT- AVG Email Scanner: How to kill it

I have disabled my Email scanner, unchecked all the boxes, done it for all
users, and still it keeps coming back like bad chili.
Any more permanent solutions?
 
Don't install the E-mail scanner when you install AVG, it's optional.

My time machine is in the shop. Damned temporal scrutinizers.
But I will remember that the next time I install or reinstall the program.
Actually, that may be the best solution.

You can run the disk and it will allow you to uninstall the email scanner.
