(OT) AVG 9.0 Free is out

If you go to AVG's main site you will see it there

I recommend you uninstall 8.5 before putting on 9.0
I have not had a chance yet to install it but i will sometime today

I have AVG Pro 8.5.421. It is strange that AVG has come out with a newer
version for the free but not for the paid.

Hello:

On my old PC - AMD Athlon XP (32-bit, single core) CPU, 1 GB RAM, 100 GB
HD - I found that AVG Free 9.0 is much, much faster than AVG Free 8.x. In
fact, it seems comparable to the old lighter and faster AVG Free 7.x. (I
haven't tried to do any benchmarks - this is just my observations.)
