OT: Anyone testing Vista?

2. It's a Beta and unless you are a paid Beta tester why are you even thinking about it

3. It is full of of vulnerabilities that remain unpatched

Gee, David, some would say Vista Beta and RC1 ARE malware. They come with
the usual disclaimer 'do not use on a production machine', but the compared
to Windows 2000 Pro Beta and RC1, the Vista offerings break a large number
of applications and hardware drivers.

I tried a Vista RC1 installation on a moderately old system that met all the
criteria for Vista; 3.2 GHz CPU, 1 GByte RAM, 128 MByte display adapter, 460
GBytes hard drive storage. Eight hardware devices (including RAID) were not
supported, and four software applications were not supported (including
antivirus and Adobe image applications).

Fortunately the installation process listed the problems about 10 minutes
in. No, not only will I not be installing Vista RC1, I don't plan on
installing Vista.

My rule of thumb is always wait until after the product's official release and after
product's first Service Pack is released before using it on the Domain.
