OT: any idea what is wrong?

hi all,

When starting my Windows 98 SE , i recieve the follwoing messages:

a box pops up with this message...
Error Starting Program
The WINSPOOL.DRV file is linked to missing export
NTDLL.DLL:NtQueryInformationProcess.

And another window with this message comes up as well...

RUNDLL
Error loading powrprof.dll
A device attached to the system in not functioning.

what can go wrong, please?

At start/run type "sfc" without the quotes. Select the 'restore file'
option and enter the names of the files in the error notice. Restore
each of the files and try again.

I would also suggest that alt.windows98 would be more appropriate for
this type of question.

hi all,

Try at microsoft.public.win98.setup. They are much more knowledgeable
about this kind of problem.
