Hello there,
First, before I installed the xp sp2, I got several spywares. One of
them is the Marketscore. So I use Spybot and/or Ad-Aware SE removed
them. But after the removal, The IE and FireFox just does not work any
more - even localhost. Didn't have a clue, I have use a restore point
to get the browers working.
Then I installed XP SP2. After the machine start, it popped-up a
message to block the "Internet Accellarator" and I click "Keep
blocking" but I found that the ossproxy.exe got into the execption
list anyway. I remove the ossproxy from the exception list. Then my IE
stop working. Have to restart my machine and let the ossproxy get into
the exception list.
I searched on google found some discussion on NSCheck and OSSPROXY.
But I cannot find NSCheck on my machine. (I do see NSUninst.exe in
Windows folder)
Any one give me some instruction how to remove this Marketscore?
Thanks
John
Reboot in safe mode and rescan with your anti-virus program and both
ad-aware and spybot.Download the lsp-fix first and if you loose your internet
connection againg use that to repair it.
Good Luck
Sometimes, when you remove malware it will stop your TCP/IP
stack from working (Internet connection).
Winsock or LSP-fix will correct the problem,Download first.
Note to anyone using NOD32 Anti-Virus software,Do Not delete the
"imon.dll" this fix reports,That is your e/mail scanning engine.
YES-You need more than 1 malware program,I use all of these.
