Ok not sure what newsgroup I should post this in but here goes. I have a
oscilloscope that was given to me, I never use the thing but I figure it's
gotta be worth something right? Anyway I can't seem to find a trace of it
anywhere on the net. It is a B+K Precision 10Mhz Oscilloscope, model 1466.
Anyone know where I can find the specs or some info on it? I have some of
the accessories for it, but don't know what they are called. I want to sell
it because I really don't know how to use the darn thing, but if I could
learn I might keep it. If it would be useful in diagnosing problem hardware
that is. Any thoughts?

TIA
-Chris

A 10 Mhz scope is really bottom of the line these days. I don't think
it would be worth much.

hmmm 10Mhz sounds a bit slow. how old is it?

and what do you plan on selling it for?

Oscilloscope is a best tool for locating power supply
problems before those problems cause system crashes. Even 10
Mhz scope is great for such work. It also makes a powerful
tool for learning about electricity in general.

Should you decide to unload it, then even high school physic
classrooms would require such a useful tool. The oscilloscope
(and its variants such as TV) have long been THE most
important tool in science and technical economies; having only
recently been replaced by computers.

To unload it, at least publish your general location. It is not
going to be worth much, so nobody will want to pay shipping etc.
