Hi,

When I boot up my computer, it crashes just before the XP-splash screen and
shows a blue screen with white text. It says that I should try to remove any
newly installed hardware. There is nothing wrong with my harddrives. I made
a clean installation of XP on a harddrive connected to another computer. It
boot's up fine in XP on the other computer. Afterwards the same harddrive
connected to my computer won't boot up in XP and the blue screen apears
again.
I have tried to use a new block of RAM, different IDE cables, USB-harddrive
(with installed XP) and I even made a reset of the CMOS and afterwards
flashed the BIOS.
It doesn't make any sense! Any suggestions?

You don't really expect an xp installed on another computer to work
when the drive is put into yours, do you? Unless they had exactly the
same hardware, there are going to be issues, and possibly major
issues.

Most of the components on the PC you installed XP on are different than the
one youre trying to run it on. You'll have to start over by intalling XP on
the PC you intend to use it with.
Get all the drivers for mob, video sound etc.
