OS (windows xp media cener 2005) reinstall and internet problems

Hi, I just reinstalled windows xp media center 2005. My internet was working
before the reinstall, but now I cannot connect. Any ideas as to what's wrong?

Do you need unique manufacturer drivers for your nic card or wireless card?
